When I first took an FW class I tried to apply each principle. Sure enough, gifts, attention and love were the rewards. As a year or so slipped by so did my fascinating ways. I could not bring myself to apply childlikeness. It seemed too childish to me. Having memorized and meditated in God’s word since I received Christ Jesus as my Lord and Savior, it seemed silly to act this way. However, while meditating after reading the amplified bible in Eph. 5:33, I realized that God said to “charm” your husband. Taking a new class in FW I am now trying to react to such situations in a childlike manner

I now realize that I have not tried to understand my husband’s work and its pressures on him. After reading the chapter on Sympathetic Understanding I listened, for the first time, really listened to my husband after work one evening. He opened up his heart and let all the things that bothered him about his job pour out. Then each evening he could hardly wait to talk to me again about his work. These two areas of my life certainly needed improving and thanks to FW I am trying and reaping blessings as I obey the principles. We all need someone to listen to us, truly. Your husband will adore you if you listen to him and make him Number One.

Also, my husband definitely feels more protective of me when I do not wear pants. I really want to be extremely feminine for him and have gotten rid of my slacks. Even God says, do not wear things pertaining to men. It is an abomination. How much is it worth to be thought of as a doll? Enough for me to make dresses out of my pants suits!

I Can Only Describe it as Heavenly

FW has benefited our marriage tremendously. I have been rewarded for my efforts with Celestial Love that has manifested itself in showers of endearment, chivalrous attention, frequent and beautiful gifts, and feelings of closeness and trust that I can only describe as heavenly. In addition, that elusive and fleeting feeling of inner happiness that I used to pursue, has come to reside in my heart. Serenity and contentment are my companions. These are the beautiful by products of following God’s plan for my life as revealed through Fascinating Womanhood.

When I become discouraged with my program in living FW, and find the ideals too high for me to live up to, I seek the help of Heavenly Father, ask Christ as my redeemer to live in me and love through me, then somehow the impossible miraculously becomes the possible. The scripture “I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me.” becomes a reality through his power, when my mind is open and my attitude willing.
