I Was a Little Frightened

I hope that you read this letter personally. I want you to know that I have kept your book in the drawer of my bedside table for the past twenty-eight years. I have it practically memorized. I has made a big difference in my life.

Years ago I wanted to write you but did not know how to reach you. When I first read your book I was amazed that someone as young as you could write such a mature book. I am truly excited that I can communicate with you, after all these years, and tell you what a masterpiece I think your book is. When I first read it I realized I was doing practically everything wrong! When I began practicing the concepts the results were so amazing I was a little frightened. Even now I am astounded at how well they work.

I went on the web and was pleasantly surprised to find the Fascinating Womanhood website. No one around here, that I know of, has heard of it and I was happy to see that it is still actively being followed. I want to congratulate you on your success in helping so many people

Recently our preacher’s wife told me that my husband just goes on and on about how wonderful I am. She said it was amazing after all of these years. I am 55 and we have been married 35 years. I told her that we are very much in love. Later she questioned me further and I told her about Fascinating Womanhood. She said it sounded as if it was something I should teach in our ladies’ Bible class. I told her that I had first learned about it in ladies Bible class and would be glad to teach it but would need to spend some time preparing.

I am writing to request permission teach Fascinating Womanhood at our church, the Leander Church of Christ where my husband is an Elder. I am not sure when the class will be but I will begin to study and prepare for it. I want to share these concepts with others.

The Perfect Gift, from God

I have finally found you after many years of searching. Thank God for the Internet. You have touched the lives of thousands of women around the world and you have certainly touched mine out here in Trinidad in the Caribbean. Over ten years ago I found Fascinating Womanhood in a second hand book shop, it looked interesting and I bought it. I never got around to reading it tough, until re-discovered in on my book shelf a few years later. By now my marriage was far gone to the cleaners and my husband was perpetually drunk. I was frustrated, depressed and miserable, struggling to raise my two kids while holding down three jobs. When I understood the principles by reading the book I was already divorced from a marriage of fourteen years. Living by the principles in the book did change my thinking and my attitude.

While struggling to make ends meet as a single female parent I felt more like a provider and my feminine softness was totally challenged. Things changed when I invited Christ to take control of my life and make me the kind of woman He called me to be. God the Father then became my provider. I became His helpmeet, taking His message of love and forgiveness to children and their parents. Today I am in full time ministry with an international organization as a missionary to children, working along with their parents and teachers. I have never felt more feminine in all my life than I do now. I have also gotten the perfect gift - a mate from God, and we will be married soon.

Thank you so much for your work and dedication. In a garden full of flowers you are the most beautiful flower of all. The other flowers got their beauty from the ray of sunlight which reflects from you. I am one of those flowers. Thank you, than you so much for allowing God to fulfill His purpose in your life and for the way you have brought about life transformation to people.
